Clear rules make better classes.

All sessions must be scheduled in advance by purchasing a class plan (5, 10, or 15 classes). We do not offer single drop-in sessions or same-day bookings without an active plan.

Once a plan is active, sessions are booked on a consistent weekly day and time agreed with your tutor. Changes to the recurring schedule can be requested at any time and are subject to tutor availability.

Plans are personal to the enrolled student and cannot be shared or transferred between students.

Cancellations and reschedules must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled session, by email or phone.

Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, are counted as taken: the paid session is forfeited and deducted from the plan.

If a tutor needs to cancel a session, it is never deducted from your plan — we will reschedule it at a time that works for you.

If a student has not joined the Zoom session within 15 minutes of the start time without prior notice, the session is considered a no-show.

Payments are made exclusively through Venmo, in full, before the first session of each plan.

Every payment must include the student's full name and the date in the payment note. This is how we match payments to plans — payments without this information may delay the activation of your classes.

Class plans are non-refundable once the first session of the plan has taken place. Unused sessions remain available for 6 months from the date of purchase.

All sessions are held live over Zoom and last 60 minutes. A stable internet connection and a camera-on environment are part of how our method works.

For students under 18, a parent or guardian must complete enrollment and remain the point of contact for scheduling and payments.

SpanishWiz teaches conversational fluency and does not issue certifications, diplomas, or official grades.
